  A collectively-run Oakland community bike shop

WHAT WE DO:

The Bikery is a Cycles of Change, nonprofit, Oakland community bike shop!

We have affordable used bikes for sale, repairs, classes & community events. 

We have a repair space where you can sign up & use tools to work on your own bike, & get on the list to earn a bike.

We're committed to making bikes affordable to everybody.

At the Bikery we believe bikes are a 
important & creative 
part of building a movement 
for social and environmental justice
in our communities


WHO WE ARE:

The Bikery is a collective run by folks of color, focused on leadership from youth, women, trans & genderqueer folks, and people from Oakland and the Bay Area.

We work together with 
interns & volunteers 
from local high schools, to develop job skills 
in bike mechanics, organic gardening, 
& experience with a collectively-run business.
